How should I best prepare for class before I arrive?

Hydrate well throughout the day prior to practicing, and after class.  Eat light and allow ample time between eating and practicing to ensure your body has time to digest prior to class.

 

What should I should wear to class?

Athletic, moisture-wicking clothing is recommended – you will sweat!

 

What do I need to bring with me to class?

A yoga mat, a mat towel and bottle of water. Forgot your stuff or traveling? No worries, we rent mats, towels, and have water for purchase.

Do you have ShowerS?

Yes, we have showers for use and shower towels available.

 

Where do I park?

The paved lot next to the studio is a paid lot. Scan the QR code in the parking lot, enter your information, use the code YOGA2024 code for 3 hours of parking for $5. There is street parking in the neighborhood and you can also park directly behind the studio for free. We recommend giving yourself a few extra minutes to park due to the increased construction in our area.

 

How early should I arrive to class?

Please arrive 5- 10 minutes before class begins. If you are a new student, please arrive at least 10- 15 minutes before class begins and check in at the front desk where someone from our team will be there to welcome you, meet you and help you complete new student paperwork. The Studio doors open 15 minutes before class start and the door is locked at class start time.

WHAT TO DO IF I’M RUNNING LATE TO CLASS?

It happens to all of us despite our best efforts. If you know you area running a few minutes late, please call the call or text (615-942-8100) to let us know.

What if I signed up for a class and I can’t make it or don’t show?

We understand that life happens and sometimes you can’t make it to a class you signed up for. Please cancel your reservation through the same method that you signed up for class (Mindbody). All No Shows or Late Cancels within 3 hr cancellation will be charged $12. Students with class packs will have the class deducted from their package. Thank you for your participation with this. This keeps us all accountable and an opportunity for everyone to get on the mat. 

What should I expect during class?

Class details can be found here. Expect to be welcomed by an experienced team of teachers and leaders. We do our best to lead powerful classes that leave you feeling complete and connected to yourself and others.

 

I left something at the studio, how do I get it back?

Please come to the studio 15 minutes before or after a class when doors are open to search through our Lost & Found. Shakti Power Yoga is not responsible for personal items left in the studio. Lost & Found items are donated on a monthly basis. You can also email info@shaktiyoganashville.com and let us know you left something.

 

What is your refund policy for packages, workshops or memberships cancellation

All drop-ins, class packages and workshops are non-refundable. There is a 30 day cancellation policy on all month to month memberships. email traci@shaktiyoganashville for any membership needs.
